Courses

We run a variety of assessed courses designed for either one-to-one, or group sessions for a minimum of 6 people and a maximum of 12 people (unless stated).

We reason that we can keep our prices lower than the Industry standard, is that we run the courses at your own company or school building and use your facilities, which is easier for staff to attend and fit in around your work plans.

We are also very flexible in our training so we can meet your exact requirements, for example: Auto Injector, Asthma, Diabetic Cervical management, etc. Just contact us to discuss your requirements and we will compile a course to suit you.

First Aid in Schools
Cost will vary depending on content and length of the course.

From 2020 onwards, all state-funded schools in England will be required to teach first aid as part of health education.

Primary schools will need to include basic first aid and common injuries. Secondary school pupils will be taught further first aid including CPR and the purpose of defibrillators.

Our qualified HCPC trainers can come to your school to train teachers and LSA’s so they will be confident to teach your pupils. Alternatively we can teach the pupils directly in planned weekly lessons - giving the exact training required in accordance with the National Curriculum.

Contact Jon Lane for more information and prices for your personally created package to suit your school’s requirements and budget.

We will create a bespoke course for you to fulfill your first aid requirements, this can include:

  • Teacher & LSA Training - to enable them to be competent to teach first aid to the pupils
  • Our trainers can complete the lessons directly to the pupils on regular or singular sessions
  • After school clubs
  • Bespoke courses designed for Primary and Secondary Schools

3 Hour - AED (Defibrillator) Training with LifePak 1000
Cost: £50 per person. Minimum of 6 people and a maximum 12 people per course. 1 year certificate.
Automated External Defibrillation (AED) is well established as the only effective therapy for cardiac arrest. The scientific evidence to support early defibrillation is overwhelming, the single most determinant of survival being the delay from collapse to delivery of the first shock. The chances of successful defibrillation decline at a rate of 7-10% with each minute. Basic life support may help to sustain a shockable rhythm but is not a definitive treatment.

We offer a comprehensive Automated External Defibrillation (AED) programme based on the necessary theory, backed up with lots of practical sessions. The course is run over half a day, and is made as informative, yet as enjoyable as possible, thus allowing the students to gain confidence in what is a new and possibly somewhat daunting skill.

In addition to training we are able to offer advice in areas such as, company protocols, purchasing equipment and on-going help and support with training and development.

Training conforms to current Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines.
